# aiediting.news

> AI video editing news and tools hub run by Mark Romero (YouTube: THA Creative Guru, https://www.youtube.com/@Thacreativeguru). Rankings are published only after Mark tests a tool and fills in his scores.

Production pages do not include example ratings. If a tool is missing, Mark has not published a score for it.

Mark scores price, output, and whether a tool is worth it on a 0 to 10 scale. Higher is better. He also marks whether you still need editing software. That one is yes, no, or not rated. It is not a score.

## Tools

- [Tool index](https://aiediting.news/tools/): Human-readable list of published tools.
- [Machine-readable tools](https://aiediting.news/tools.json): JSON for every published tool, including ratings when they exist.

- [AI Editing Masterclass](https://aiediting.news/tools/ai-editing-masterclass/): A Sparvol course and AI editor from Torsten Roscoe. The page says it needs Claude Code.
- [Claude video editor](https://aiediting.news/tools/claude-video-editor/): Plug-and-play Claude video editor files inside Jason Cooperson's AI Leverage Lab.
- [Mino Lee captions skill](https://aiediting.news/tools/mino-lee-captions-skill/): A free Claude skill from Mino Lee that adds captions to a talking video. Mark's verdict is to skip it.
