How to edit videos with Claude

Three tools Mark has tested. This page only repeats what those pages and the product pages already say.

Start with the job

Captions only. The Mino Lee captions skill is a free starter from Mino Lee at Content Academy. The page says you send Claude a talking video and get that video back with captions. It works on a Mac, in the Claude desktop app, and you need a paid Claude plan. The free starter only adds captions. Mark marked editing software as not needed. His verdict is to skip it.Price 10 out of 10, output 2 out of 10, worth it 0 out of 10, overall 1.0.

A course and an editor. The AI Editing Masterclass is a course on Sparvol from Torsten Roscoe. The product page says you get his AI editor and a masterclass that shows you how to set it up. It says the course needs Claude Code, and that Claude may charge extra. The page lists the price at $247, and says access is sent when the course is released. Mark marked editing software as not needed.Price 6 out of 10, output 8 out of 10, worth it 9 out of 10, overall 7.7.

Files that still use an editor. The Claude video editor is inside AI Leverage Lab, a private Skool community from Jason Cooperson. The page describes it as plug-and-play files to automate editing, and it lists the community at $75 a month. Mark says this one runs on Premiere, CapCut, and DaVinci Resolve, so you still need one of those programs.Price 8 out of 10, output 9 out of 10, worth it 10 out of 10, overall 9.0.

What to do next

Open the page that matches the job and read the scores before you buy. A higher number means Mark scored that part higher. The buttons on the course and the community are affiliate links. The captions skill link is not.
